Closure of Library on 23 Feb 2019 (Sat)

The Library will be closed on 23 Feb 2019 (Sat) for an annual NIE staff event. Loans due on this date will be automatically extended to the following work day (25 Feb 2019, Mon).

Public Address (PA) System Testing at Library

We wish to inform users that DED will be carrying out testing of the Public Address (PA) System at NIE Block 4 (Library) on 9 Feb 2019 (Saturday).

 

During the test, there will be playing of PA messages from 9am to 1pm. Please do not be alarmed.

NIE Data Centre Shutdown on 23-24 Nov 2018

We wish to inform users that the Computer Services Centre (CSC) will be performing the following IT preventive maintenance:

Annual Building Electrical Maintenance for Blk 1, 2, and 3

The NIE data centre will be shut down. All IT services will not be available in the campus.

 

The following IT services will be made available from Internet using a second data centre outside NIE campus. There will be intermittent disruption during fail-over on Fri night and fail-back on Sat night:

2) LIBRIS Portal and e-databases

3) NIE Corporate Web Site

4) NIE Portal

5)Staff email
