Christmas & New Year Holidays Opening Hours
NIE Library will be closed for the Christmas and New Year period as shown below:

Fire Protection Functional Test (7 Dec 2024)
We wish to inform users that the monthly fire protection functional test will be carried out on 7 Dec 2024, Saturday from 0900 hrs to 1800 hrs at Block 4 (Library/Canteen) in NIE.
During the test, fire alarm bells and speakers will be sounded intermittently.
Please do not use the lifts during the test.
We apologise for any disturbance or inconvenience this may cause.

The Library Cafe, Venture Drive Coffee Roasters (VDC), will be closed from 2 Dec 2024 to 5 Jan 2025 for annual maintenance works.
The outlets at NTU's North/South Spine will be open during this period.

Public Address (PA) System Testing at Library
We wish to inform users that the Development and Estate Department will be carrying out testing of the Public Address (PA) System at NIE Block 4 (Library) on 9 Nov 2024 (Saturday).
During the test, there will be playing of PA messages from 9am to 1pm. Please do not be alarmed.
