Upholding Academic Integrity in the Age of Generative AI

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

This is the third workshop of a 4-part series, Foundations for Academic Success, a collaboration between NIE Library and the Graduate Student Club.

Generative AI tools are rapidly transforming the academic landscape, offering new opportunities for research, learning, and creativity. However, their misuse threatens the fundamentals of academic integrity.

In this workshop, participants will:

  • Explore the pitfalls of AI applications, such as unintentional plagiarism
  • Define ethical AI use and examine institutional policies
  • Learn actionable strategies to uphold academic integrity

By the end of this workshop, attendees will be empowered to harness AI responsibly while maintaining the high standards of academic scholarship.

Join us to learn how to thrive with integrity in an AI-driven academic world.
