ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

This is the final workshop in a 2-part series, Foundations for Academic Success – Navigating the Literature Landscape, a collaboration between NIE Library and the Graduate Student Club.

In this workshop, attendees will learn how to use various AI literature search tools to:

  • Improve the efficiency of their literature search
  • Identify seminal papers within each key domain
  • Find related papers to expand the breadth of research
  • Keep up to date with literature in their research field

 

This practical session equips attendees with skills to navigate the realm of academic literature, laying a strong foundation for their research endeavors.

About the speaker

Wei Xun is a full-time PhD student from the PCHD academic group. He was a former research staff with NIE and is passionate about knowledge sharing and has conducted numerous workshops such as Social Network Analysis using UCINET and survey administration using Qualtrics and Verint with various stakeholders including MOE schools as well as NIE PDcomm and NIEGSC.
