Closed Stacks and SEDU

This service can only be requested by NIE Library members and authorised users.
All closed stacks and SEDU materials must be collected personally by the requestor at the Service Point.
Please note that closed stacks and SEDU materials are archival materials. They must be handled with care and may be used within the library premises only.
Closed stacks or SEDU material will not be retrieved if a lending copy is available. Should a lending copy be on loan, the user will have to place a hold or reservation for it.
Maximum of 5 books per request (subjected to user’s borrowing limit).

Schedule for the Collection of Closed Stacks and SEDU Materials:

Monday - Friday

Saturday

Before 10.30 am

Before 2.00 pm

Same-day collection not available.

After 11.30 am

After 3.00 pm

All other items requested previously can be collected after 9:00am.

30 minutes before library closes
