Closed Stacks and SEDU Items Request

Important Notes:

• This service can only be requested by NIE Library members and authorised users only.
• All closed stacks items must be collected personally by the requestor at the Service Point.
• Normal loan privileges apply. Please refer to other parts of the website for details.
• Please note that closed stacks books are archival materials. They must be handled with care and may be used within the library premises only.
• Closed stacks books will not be retrieved if a lending copy is available. Should the copy be on loan, the user will have to place a hold or reservation for it.

 

Schedule for the collection of Closed Stacks items:    

Item Needed On	Submit Request	Collect Items	Return Items to Library
Monday - Friday	Before 10.30 am	After 11.30 am	30 minutes before library closes
	Before 2.00 pm	After 3.00 pm
Saturday	Collection only.	After 9.00am
