Research Commons

The Research Commons supports access to scholarly information, and collaborative learning with the provision of 16 workstations. It can also be used for small group library instruction and as a briefing/reception area for visitors. Video recording capabilities are also available. External/teacher members are to approach the Service Point for assistance if they wish to use the workstations to access selected licensed resources.

Important Note: Use of workstations is on a first-come-first-served basis.

Some of the special software installed in the laptops include EndNote X8 (a bibliographic management software), Adobe Digital Editions 3.0 (for downloading and viewing of Ebrary e-books) and SPSS 21.
